Adopted during the 5th edition of AWS in Nairobi, Kenya, the Nairobi Declaration on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment emphasizes the critical role of women in addressing global challenges, particularly healthcare access. AWS 2025 will spotlight the progress made toward the declaration’s goals, including increasing healthcare access in rural communities from 42.5% to 70% by 2034. Sessions will feature leaders involved in the declaration’s implementation, sharing insights and proposing accelerated strategies
